A fish aggregating (or aggregation) device (FAD) is a man-made object used to attract ocean going pelagic fish such as marlin, tuna and mahi-mahi (dolphin fish).
An Inshore Hazard Buoy is typically used in harbors or lakes that are deployed to warn boaters of underwater hazards, restrict access to an area, or to mark a no wake zone.
A buoy that is fitted with a multitude of data sensors that can monitor different parameters such as wind speed, temperature, wave height, and water quality.
